About the Founders
Dr. Sara Creekmore, D.O.
Co-Founder
Dr. Sara Creekmore is a physician entrepreneur who recognized that many of the biggest challenges in practice ownership had little to do with medicine and everything to do with leadership. Her vision is to create a place where women physician founders learn together, support one another, and preserve independent medicine.
Dr. Creekmore is a board-certified ophthalmologist, eye surgeon, and founder of Tampa Bay Eye & Facial Aesthetics in Lutz, Florida. Her boutique practice combines advanced ophthalmology with facial aesthetics, allowing her to care for both the health and appearance of the eyes and face through a personalized, patient-centered approach. She specializes in advanced cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), dry eye treatment, and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation, helping patients see clearly while achieving natural, refreshed results.
As both a physician and entrepreneur, Dr. Creekmore understands firsthand the balancing act of delivering exceptional patient care while leading a successful business. FoundHER MD is an extension of that journey—a community built to help women physicians grow as confident leaders, strengthen their practices, and support one another through every stage of practice ownership.
Nicole Simonsen
Co-Founder
Nicole Simonsen is a business transformation executive and entrepreneur who believes exceptional patient care depends on strong, sustainable businesses. Throughout her career, she has seen that many talented leaders are experts in their profession but have never been taught the financial, operational, and leadership skills needed to build thriving organizations. She is passionate about helping women physician founders develop the confidence and business acumen to lead successful practices while staying true to the vision that inspired them to become practice owners.
With more than 20 years of executive leadership experience, Nicole has partnered with organizations across healthcare, hospitality, and technology to improve business performance through strategy execution, operational excellence, leadership development, and measurable outcomes. Her work has focused on helping leadership teams translate vision into action, strengthen accountability, and build financially healthy, operationally resilient organizations.
As an entrepreneur and co-founder of FoundHER MD, Nicole brings a practical business perspective to the community. She believes that when women physicians have access to trusted peers, practical business education, and meaningful conversations about leadership, they are better equipped to build thriving practices, preserve independent medicine, and create lasting impact for their patients and communities.
